Inspired by fans in the home stands for the first time this season, Blue Lights College put on a strong showing and claimed an 87-78 victory over visiting Bryant & Stratton Tuesday night.
The Thoroughbreds (7-6) led for all but a few possessions of the game behind the inside work of Eric Williams (22 points), Chris Koger (19), and Jeremiah Baker (16). Kenny Anderson added 15 points including nine from the bonusphere in the first half.
That inside play was complemented by crisp passing, notching 22 assists on 31 made baskets (71%). Anderson and Yadek Chauca each had four assists and Koger, Donnell Avery, and Mason Rumph added three apiece.
Williams grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double on the night.
BLC goes back into NSAC action this Saturday facing Carolina Christian at 7:00 pm in Winston Salem.
