The Blue Lights College Thoroughbreds started off sluggish in their second warmup of the season, but got a lift from the bench to propel them to a 66-49 scrimmage win over BelieveThenSwish Prep Friday night in the JUCO Jamboree Explosion in Raleigh.
"We came out flat," said head coach Mario Pharr, "but we made some early subs and the second team came out ready and won the game for us. We went up 20 and it was over from there. Proud of them!"
Anthony Hill, Jr. again led the scoring with 18 points, sophomore Darian Williams came off the bench to add 11, and Chance Jamison also added 11.
The Herd rounds out action in the jamboree on Saturday at 2:00 pm when they face Elite Prep.
