Blue Lights College wrestling continues to impress in its first season. Khalic Everett represented the Thoroughbreds well on Sunday by defeating Thomas Hudson from East Carolina University by decision score of 6-5. Hudson is a Heavy Weight, ranked #8 in the nation.

Logan Perentis also had a great showing going the distance and losing only by a late pin to the nation's top-ranked wrestler in 141 lb class, Wesley Hollingsworth. Logan would later come back and wrestle in a 133 lb match and defeat Anthony Frie by decision, 9-4.

The next match for the Herd is March 3 at the Mid-Atlantic Conference Tournament in Lynchburg, Virginia.
