Thoroughbreds Rebound (and Score) for Big Win

THOROUGHBREDS REBOUND (AND SCORE) FOR BIG WIN

Saturday's home loss to rival Carolina Christian must have been hanging heavy over the Blue Lights College men's basketball team Monday night, and they took major steps to rid themselves of that bitter memory in rolling past Appalachian Bible College 94-39. It was a record-setting victory in many ways against the over-matched Warriors. Dominique Hunter led the assault with 31 points, setting a single-game scoring mark. Will "Dakota" McCants hauled in 13 rebounds, also a new record, as was the 55-point margin of victory. BLC (6-14) has a tough assignment in its next matchup, taking on Central Penn at Elizabeth City, NC next Monday, February 19. The Knights are currently ranked third in the USCAA Division 2 poll.
